Exciting Tuscany

“I dream Tuscany.” Do you? If so, why not live the dream and experience...living. Slow down in a quiet farmhouse or enjoy being part of the daily life of the walled village of Anghiari, right outside your door. Some clients have done both and enjoyed quite different experiences.

La Casina. It truly was a special place and all of the couples fell in love with the place. We will definitely recommend your place to others.

We are now back from our month in Europe, but Anghiari was once again the highlight for us. We had a simply wonderful time. Il Nido was great.

Thank you so much for our stay at La Casina last week! It was everything we hoped for and more and everyone had a great time.

Quite simply, loved it! The pictures just don’t do La Casina justice. It has been renovated it in such a lovely manner which has kept the historical aspect intact while enhancing it with a modern flare. Anghiari was a delight. Quaint but lots to do and very friendly people. We did day trips to Caprese Michelangelo, Sansepolcro, Arezzo, Florence and loved them all. Very impressed with Arezzo and would have loved longer time there. Had a great visit at Ravigni Oil Mill and tasted all of their specialties. People watching in the piazza an event in itself.

We still talk so fondly about our 2 weeks at your fabulous villa. It's one of the most memorable vacations we have had.

Everything was perfect.

The little house is so CIVILIZED! We admired the renovations, for their thoughtful combination of the old historical beams and all the practical details like windows and kitchen counters so carefully and meticulously taken care of. We loved having a really good shower, and were most grateful for good reading lights over the two comfortable easy chairs, and over the bed. Your amazingly completely equipped kitchen in so small a space was a great encouragement to staying home restfully from time to time. And the garden with flourishing pots of plants, positioned to enhance privacy, was a bonus we enjoyed frequently. We also appreciated being within the old town walls. Being near to stores and restaurants was so nice because after a long day on winding roads, we did not have to drive out again to get wonderful food. And it was so quiet at night. The views down into the valley from up high were a wonder and a delight. We are telling all who are interested about Il Nido, and recommending it with great pleasure.

What a terrific place you have...Thank you for sharing "Il Nido"...it was certainly cozy and comfortable and so well located.

Il Nido is surely a nest and allowed us a very much needed rest and a base from which we could visit so many marvellous places. Giuseppe also showed us your country house and we found that gorgeous. Perhaps next year...

The setting of the La Casina is very peaceful and wonderful at all times of the day - including late evening when we saw many fireflies swooping around the back lawn. I enjoyed the relaxation of the fresh air, quiet and warmth. If I can ever return, I would like to have the experience of staying in Il Nido! Giuseppe was most helpful, gracious and flexible - too big to seize as a souvenir unfortunately!
